Liria was founded by two sisters—and lifelong best friends—Maximiliana and Guadalupe. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, they moved to the U.S. for college, one to NYU and the other to Boston University. Their time in New York City sparked a shared dream: to blend the beauty of their Peruvian heritage with a modern, everyday style.

Frustrated by fast fashion and inspired by Peru’s rich artisan culture, they launched Liria—a brand rooted in quality, craftsmanship, and authenticity. Every piece is thoughtfully designed by the sisters and handcrafted in Peru using premium, locally sourced materials.
